Generation Citizen is an organization dedicated to addressing the low civic and political participation rates of young people in the United States of America. They focus their efforts on working to eliminate the civic engagement gap by working with under-served youth populations in both rural and urban environments. They believe that Action Civics is a discipline that can be relevant in all school settings and locations with diverse political representation. Therefore, they promote civic engagement by running a civic action course that is taught on a semester-basis through participating school systems.
