Maydm’s mission is to provide girls and students of color with access to the technical programming skills, soft skills, real world experiences, and mentoring support they need in order to become innovators and technology leaders. UW- Madison provided a $25,000 donation that helped send students on field trips, as well as fund immersive programs like one where they learned about app development. All of the Fall 2017 evaluation team found their grant to Maydm to be a good decision with a good outcome because the results were clear and led to immense success in their programs and expansion of the organization.
