My giving goal is to give back 10% of my earnings to a non-profit or charity working towards a significant cause. As I make higher earnings throughout my life, I want to give back more and more money as I get older. I am open to giving back to many organizations of different types of charity such as social change or assuring families have enough food on the table. I am excited to learn more about the different types of non-profits there are and give back my earnings to them.
What is a Giving Goal?
Often, the idealism of youth is lost as one achieves success and acquires material possessions later in life. What was originally considered to be “enough” or even “beyond my wildest dreams” can become just another milestone on one’s quest…
Capturing your current vision of how you wish to give of yourself and your resources in the future could help you plan to give more meaningfully. Revisiting this vision in ten or twenty years could provide a reminder of the ideals of your youth that may shape or re-shape your future actions.
If you have already posted your Giving Goal and would like to update your email for future reminders, please contact [email protected]

My goal is to volunteer at least two hours a week to organizations that improve the mental and physical wellbeing of the populations they serve. I would like to support organizations that focus on building and fostering community support within the organization so that both volunteers and those in need feel empowered. Additionally, once I have a stable income and a full time job I would like to donate at least 5% of my annual income to organizations that specifically support those living with psychiatric illness. Since some people are unable to access support due to financial barriers, I think it’s also important to give monetarily.

My giving goal is to give at least 10% of my annual income to charities that I deeply care about and hold close to my identity. Additionally, the organizations that I volunteer my time to will determine where I will be donating to. The NPOs to which I dedicate my time are the places that I will prioritize in receiving donations.
