When talking about a Giving Goals, I really picture myself helping organizations by giving my time and donating money. I would like to create a habit of donating my time at least once or twice a mont. On the same note, I would like to donate between 3 – 5% of my anual income. Hopefully, I will make enough money to give a bit more back to the community. Adding to that, I would like to diversify where the money goes. I really love organizations that focus on education and arts, but I would also love to donate to other causes such as organizations working with domestic violence victims, feeding people that need it, and also those who raise awareness for social and environmental problems
What is a Giving Goal?
Often, the idealism of youth is lost as one achieves success and acquires material possessions later in life. What was originally considered to be “enough” or even “beyond my wildest dreams” can become just another milestone on one’s quest…
Capturing your current vision of how you wish to give of yourself and your resources in the future could help you plan to give more meaningfully. Revisiting this vision in ten or twenty years could provide a reminder of the ideals of your youth that may shape or re-shape your future actions.
If you have already posted your Giving Goal and would like to update your email for future reminders, please contact [email protected]

My giving goal is to find philanthropic organizations and causes that I am truly passionate about. With passion behind my donations and forms of giving, I will be much more inclined to do as much as I can to help those in need. I want to start donating my time and money to these organizations immediately and continuously, even if I cannot give much. Living in Atlanta, I am motivated to learn more about what the city is lacking in and how I can contribute. I hope to constantly have a mental reminder of philanthropy in my mind from this moment forward.

I plan to give anything that I have beyond my living expenses. I want to give money to help people get food, get and stay healthy, and prevent disease spread.
