According to an Evaluation of Summer Food Programs in the Upper Valley Region created for the Public Health Council of the Upper Valley and Dartmouth-Hitchcock, (Twin Pines Housing served as a program partner), €œFood insecurity exists in almost every county in the country and is a measure of lack of access to enough food for all household members. Families have to rely on different food programs to fill in the gap. Twin Pines Housing addresses this issue of food insecurity by bringing food directly to low-income families where they live.
