Agua Para La Vida (“Water for Life”) helps communities in rural Nicaragua to build their own gravity-flow clean drinking water systems and sanitation. AlPLV also develops sustainable local health education programs in the communities as well as run a technical school which is providing the next generation of water technicians to Nicaragua. This grant will assist in the expansion of the school that trains local water engineers.
