Once I am employed full-time and have a stable income, I plan to donate at least 8% of my income and work my way up to at least 10% or even more when I become more frequent. I want to donate my money to organizations I truly support and care about. I also intend to do other forms of giving, such as participating in blood donations and small things, such as signing off on being an organ donor, so I can make sure to help those who need it the most. Other than just giving money, I want to be more hands-on, so I make sure that I’m helping others and actually making an impact in someone’s life. I think it’s important to constantly look out and be kind to the people you pass, such as buying food for the homeless or giving them gloves if it’s cold. Donating money is good, but I think it’s most important to help your community and to set a good example through your actions so others may do the same.
