My top three values are excellence, faith, and integrity, and my top three issue areas are education, religion, and legal aid and services. The relationship I see is that my faith calls me to hold myself and the institutions I support to the highest standard of excellence — and that means ensuring people have access to the two things that can most change the trajectory of a life: a quality education and the legal resources to protect their rights and dignity. I believe integrity demands that we close the gap between the ideals our society claims to hold and the reality many people face. When I give, I want to fund organizations that don’t just address symptoms but build lasting structures — schools that form whole people, faith communities that anchor and empower, and legal services that ensure no one is left without a voice simply because they cannot afford one.
