My giving goal is to begin consistently donating to organizations that support animals in need once I secure a full-time job after graduation. When I have a stable income, I plan to set aside a small percentage of my salary each year to support animal shelters, rescue organizations, and programs that provide medical care, rehabilitation, and adoption services. I believe animals deserve protection and compassion, and I want my giving to reflect that value. Instead of donating impulsively, I plan to carefully research and support organizations that are open about how they use their funds and that prioritize long-term impact, such as spay and neuter programs, adoption initiatives, and education around responsible pet ownership. In addition to supporting animals in need, I also want to give back to the University of Wisconsin–Madison as an alumna. UW–Madison has played an important role in shaping my education and career path, and I would like to support scholarships or programs that help future students succeed.
