Department: McCombs School of Business
Randi Shade is a lecturer in the Department of Business, Government, and Society at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. Shade is an Austin-based entrepreneur and community leader. She has been a board member and served in executive roles throughout her career, working in the for-profit, not-for-profit, and government sectors. Shade has been an Austin City Council member, executive director of the Austin Entrepreneurs Foundation, founder and CEO of an internet company, and founding executive director of what is now OneStar Foundation, where she launched AmeriCorps in Texas.
